Remedi are recruiting a Coordinator to provide support and supervision to the Derbyshire Victim Services team (Generic, Got Your Back and Anti-Social Behaviour) operational across Derbyshire. You will also deputise for the service manager in a varied capacity.

The coordinator will be required to be competent and confident in providing monthly case supervision to all members of the team. This will include providing a solution focussed approach to addressing casework challenges, identifying areas for improvement and establishing training needs, monitoring performance and staff motivation.

As coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for all staff in relation to casework and safeguarding concerns. It is essential therefore that you have knowledge of and experience of dealing with safeguarding adults and children.

Providing statistical reports is how we demonstrate the success of our work – it will be your responsibility to gather accurate statistical information to enable the Manager to complete and submit statistical reports.

The manager and coordinator work very closely and you will be required to deputise for the manager, as and when required. This may involve delivering training to professionals or attending meetings on behalf of the manager.

It is essential for our team to clearly record and update casework records to enable Remedi to recognise the impact and value of their work.  As Coordinator, you will therefore be responsible for undertaking quality assurance audits on their bespoke case management system and for providing feedback to team members and the manager.

All holiday requests, sickness and expenses claims are managed by the coordinator. You will therefore need to ensure the staff database is fully up-to date with regards to holidays and sickness and review staff approaches to ensure that the team are working productively, smartly and minimising expenses wherever possible.

Remedi have a great team of volunteers who support the work they do and they want to expand this, therefore you will play a big part in recruiting, training and supporting the volunteers alongside the manager.

Remedi have very positive relationships with partner agencies and this is something they pride thereselves on – you will be expected to build and maintain these relationships on behalf of Remedi.

Alongside the Service Manager, you will work with the team to ensure that they are adhering to GDPR, Confidentiality and Equal Opportunities policies.

The role of coordinator can be quite demanding and fast paced, but is also incredibly rewarding. Remedi want you to embrace the role and face complexities in a positive manner.
