Job opportunity - Restorative justice delivery officer

Sussex police is recruiting a restorative justice delivery officer for its Brighton and Hove division.

The successful candidate will personally deliver restorative justice interventions, particularly face to face restorative conferencing between victims of crime and offenders in line with agreed processes and procedures working in partnership with criminal justice and third sector organisations. They will identify suitable cases, conduct risk assessments and report to the divisional restorative justice coordinator. They will deliver high quality restorative justice conferencing across a broad spectrum of crime disposals ensuring compliance with National Occupational Standards.

The post will involve some working outside of normal office hours and in different locations.

This is a full-time permanent position with a salary range from £20,667 – £22,449.
