Job opportunity: Restorative service case coordinator at Calm Mediation

Calm Mediation provides restorative justice to victims and offenders in London on behalf of the Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime. It has been providing a restorative justice service to victims and offenders since 2005 and achieved the Restorative Service Quality Mark in 2016.

Calm Mediation is seeking a dynamic, resourceful restorative service case coordinator to continue to build on its reputation for excellence, working with victims and offenders plus a variety of organisations in the criminal justice sector.

The post holder will run an efficient case management process, handling restorative justice referrals and case information, liaising with referrers and service users, and ensuring that Calm continues to comply with relevant quality standards e.g. data protection. You will assist Calm’s team of volunteer facilitators, with supervision and development responsibilities. Alongside this you will be involved in the development and promotion of the service, seeking new sources of referrals and funding as well as maintaining existing channels and meeting referral targets. The role will also involve supporting the service manager and the development officer with marketing, and the delivery of Calm Mediation’s training courses and workshops.

To succeed in this role, you will need sound knowledge and experience of restorative practice, initiative, and excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.

Pay: £27,000-£30,000 according to experience, 36 hours per week
