Involved in restorative practice since 2001, Janet Clark is an experienced trainer, consultant, practitioner, assessor and published author in restorative practice. Janet’s ‘Restorative Schools, Restorative Communities’, has been published by Speechmark. Janet is an Accredited Practitioner with the RJC and is an assessor for the RJC’s RSQM and Direct Accreditation schemes, as well as being an A1 assessor for restorative practice.
Having initially been one of the first schools coordinators in the Restorative Justice in Schools Project, in 2002, then project managing the award winning RAiS (Restorative Approaches in Schools) project in Bristol, Janet has supported a number of schools, educational and youth settings, and other agencies in implementing restorative approaches. Janet delivers training, consultancy and facilitation in a wide variety of settings, including youth offending services, the police, probation, educational settings and community mediation.
Janet Clark delivers tailored programmes as well as awareness sessions, introductory days, restorative conferencing skills, refresher courses, CPD workshops, and workshops around planning and implementation in order to support the embedding of restorative practice. Training packages are delivered in line with RJC Best Practice Guidance, the Trainers Code of Practice and National Occupational Standards, and are of excellent quality, based on years of practical experience in the field.
